Hult Prize Foundation, London
deepkapha.ai was delighted to mentor over 40 startups this year where the theme was energy and how it could impact the society by improving lives of at least 10 million people world wide. We were thrilled to have shared our vision of AI and how it is set to electrify industries at scale.
We mentored startups focused on solar energy, wind energy, agriculture, water and marine life to name a few. It was a delightful experience to exchange views and help the startup’s adopt the AI-mindset as they went building their hardware, software and services.
The Hult Prize was established in 2010 by Ahmed Ashkar and Bertil Hult, and is an annual, year-long competition that crowd-sources ideas from MBA and college students after challenging them to solve a pressing social issue around topics such as food security, water access, energy, and education. The Hult family – founders of EF Education First – donates USD 1 million in seed capital to help the winning team launch a social enterprise.
